Environment Magazine is published by Climate and Environment Media Ltd. The magazine and website are for organisations and businesses that need to better understand the implications of the impacts of environment law and climate change laws on their business. The company keeps the increasing number of managers interested in these subject areas informed of developments while seeking to provide solutions to the problems they face in their day to day jobs.
The challenges of human impacts on the environment and climate mean that both the public and private sector will need to adjust business practices, forge new relationships and re-engineer what they do and how they do it. Environment Magazine, and other products owned and developed by Climate and Environment Media, provide information to begin that process.
Environment Magazine was first published by DEFRA and was known as EAST Journal. EAST Journal was one of the first magazines in the UK that followed changing Government attitudes to the environment and what is now the climate change debate. The magazine was acquired by Climate and Environment Media in 2007 and relaunched in 2008. In September 2008 it was taken online. The magazine has a global reach and its editorial is heavily focused on announced developments and emerging trends. The company also holds events, advises clients on a consultancy basis on communications strategies and publishes bespoke client newsletters.
Environment Magazine, and the website, are published from London. All enquiries should be directed to Chris Innis the publisher on +44(0)2074930588 or +44(0)7799692492.
